Dive into the art of quilting in this fun and hands-on, week-long academy designed specifically for teens! Whether you're new to sewing or looking to elevate your creative skills, this program will guide you through every step of the quilting process. You'll begin by mastering the basics—operating a sewing machine, perfecting stitches, and familiarizing yourself with essential tools and materials.
As the week progresses, you’ll learn how to piece fabric with precision, design stunning quilt patterns, and add texture with simple quilting techniques. By the end of the week, you’ll complete the finishing touches, including binding, to give your quilt a polished, professional finish. You’ll leave with a beautiful 46” x 46” baby quilt that showcases your newfound skills and creativity!
