This fun summer camp for young students allows them to dive into the basics of photography, storyboarding, lighting, and video production. By exploring, interviewing, shooting, and editing, campers will produce an exciting newscast using their creativity. Campers will learn elements of video production: pre-production, production, and post-production, including camera and audio operation, producing a newscast and a podcast. In addition, students will work in small groups to learn the roles of director, camera operator, editor, etc., and use some of our pro-level cameras and lights in our Performance Arts Center (PAC). Additionally, students will learn how to get ready to create an impact if they are using Zoom for school. Students can bring their creative ideas to life in a fun, collaborative, and exciting environment!
