Ellie Bowden-Kelly joined the Canterbury School community in 2024 as the Communications Specialist. She was born and raised in Fort Myers, attending both Saint Francis Xavier and Fort Myers High School. While at Fort Myers High, she discovered her love of design and won first place in a rebranding competition with Digital Lee. She then attended college in Tallahassee and Winter Park. She graduated from Full Sail University in 2017 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Art and Design. Immediately after graduation, she started work as a Graphic Designer for Advanced Recovery Systems. She then relocated to Clearwater when she welcomed her daughter, Teagan to the world. Ellie and Teagan moved home to Fort Myers in 2021 and have loved being back. Photography became Ellie's focus and she became a family and wedding photographer as well as serving as Creative Director of WooBamboo!, a Cape Coral based eco-oral care company from 2022-2024. She is excited to join the Canterbury family and bring her talents wherever they are needed. 

Silvia joined Canterbury in 2017 as our Lower School Spanish Teacher. She came to us from The Sanibel School where she taught Spanish for five years to students in kindergarten through eighth grade. She also has five years of experience teaching Spanish to pre-kindergarten students. Silvia earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Instituto Pedagógico Santa Rosa Perú. She is a strong proponent of providing students with co-curricular opportunities to further explore the Spanish language and culture.
