SAT/ACT Test Prep

Canterbury School offers Intensive Test Prep programs which are open to all students in the community. Please see below for the latest test prep dates and register online.
Jim Giesen is a Canterbury Mathematics Department faculty member and a professionally trained Test Prep tutor and teacher educator who served as Director of Education for a private tutoring company in St. Petersburg. He has extensive experience in the field of test preparation and has been helping prepare students for standardized tests since 2006.

This 15-hour course, led by test prep professional and Canterbury faculty member Jim Giesen, will give students valuable strategies and a comprehensive understanding of the test, to optimize results.
  • Lessons to gain an in-depth understanding of all SAT question types.
  • Gain confidence by practicing test question types with guided instruction
  • Practice test midway through class- receive personal feedback to fine-tune and focus study
  • Intensive study in the weeks leading up to the test - be ready for the testing day!
Cost: $900

Students must bring their laptops and download the Blue Book Digital Practice app for class.

Courses are non-refundable within 30 days of the course start date. Pro-rated tuition is not available.
