Two Cougar Girl Wrestlers Move Onto Regionals
The Cougar girls wrestling team traveled to Cypress Lake High School on Friday, February 9, for the Girls Wrestling District Championships.
Claire O. '26 went 2-1 on the day to finish third overall in the 140 lb. weight class. Newcomer Nola R. '28 (2-2) finished in fourth place in the 105 lb. weight class.
As a team, the Cougars finished Top 10 overall in a 24-team field.
Claire and Nola now advance to the regional competition at North Fort Myers High School on Saturday, February 17.
