Canterbury's DECA Chapter Travels to State Competition
Canterbury's DECA chapter traveled to Orlando for the Florida DECA State CDC competition, February 29- March 3, 2024.
At Florida DECA's most competitive conference ever, the Cougars competed with a chapter record number of first-year and freshman students.
"Although some of our students did not see the result that they wanted, the fact that they made it from districts all the way to states as first-year students is incredible," said chapter advisor Liam Kean. "I am so proud of them and how they represented Canterbury."
Congratulations to the following representatives on a strong show at the state competition: Laith A. '25, Joseph C. '24, Matthew K. '25, Luca F. '25, Tanish P. '24, Zach B. '24, Bradley L. '27, Brock C. '27, Mahi P. '27, Mehereen C. '25, and Olivia Tr. '25.
Although the year has come to a close, Canterbury's DECA chapter is looking forward to an even more successful year in 2024-2025.
