Anika K. ’25 Named a National Merit Finalist

We are proud to announce that Anika K. ’25 has been named a National Merit Finalist by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC®)! This prestigious recognition places her among the nation’s highest-achieving students and qualifies her to compete for 6,870 National Merit Scholarships, collectively worth nearly $26 million, to be awarded this spring.
Anika earned this distinction through her outstanding performance on the 2023 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®). She first advanced to Semifinalist status, ranking among the top one percent of U.S. high school seniors. Now, having met all the requirements, she moves forward as a Finalist, with the opportunity to be selected as a National Merit Scholar.

The selection of Merit Scholarship winners is currently underway, with notifications beginning in March. Four nationwide announcements of recipients will follow in April, May, June, and July.
