Learning About Leadership as Head of School for the Day
On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, Head of School Rick Kirschner handed over the reins, briefly, to a team of enthusiastic new leaders.
Mackenzie B. ’35, Logan B. ’33, Blaze C. ’31, Kamden C. ’29, Aydan C. ’28, and Luis C. ’26 stepped into the role of Head of School for the Day and got a firsthand look at what it takes to lead a vibrant prep school community. Along the way, they also got to experience a few of Mr. Kirschner’s favorite traditions!
From a golf cart ride to Smoothie King and delivering birthday cards, to reading books with Lower School friends, designing custom Cougar Cave cups, and capping it all off with proclamations announced on Cougar Vision, it was a whirlwind day full of fun and leadership.
