LEGO Robotics
Dive into the exciting world of robotics with Spike LEGO Education kits! In this collaborative program, students will work in teams to design, build, and program robots to solve engaging challenges. Broadway Beginners
Students will have fun acting using their bodies, facial expressions, and emotions. They will play games and explore different theater styles including musical theater, storybook theater, and puppet theater. They will practice projecting their voices and speaking with confidence while having fun playing their favorite characters. Superheroes, princesses and storybook characters will be explored during this interactive class. There will be a small showcase for families following the final class.

Ceramics
The ceramic enrichment class will provide the students with the experience of working with clay for sensory development, motor skills, self-esteem, self-expression, problem-solving skills, discipline, and pride. Clay also has a uniquely therapeutic quality, providing a moment to settle and retain focus. The students will be introduced to all basic aspects of sculptural and functional pottery. Students will understand how to use ceramic tools properly advancing to the pottery wheel. Students will understand the basic elements and principles of design in creating 3-D objects. Come join Canterbury's art teacher and find your creative outlet. All materials will be provided.

Comedy Improv
Comedy Improv offers students the opportunity to learn fun, improv games and key concepts for creating improv scenes in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. It's often hilarious, and also team-building and confidence-building. Improv naturally incorporates creativity, play, and life skills such as listening and participating with others in a way that can be translated to other areas of life. Also, they will come home with some fun games that you can play. Family and friends are invited on the last day of the class to participate as the audience.

How can your child learn to code before they can even read? With the VEX 123 robot, young learners can begin coding by using touch to control movements and sounds. This interactive, programmable robot introduces foundational concepts in STEM, computer science, and computational thinking. As students explore sequences, logic, and problem-solving, they gain valuable skills while having fun. The VEX 123 robot is a perfect way to spark curiosity and foster early coding skills in a hands-on, engaging environment.

Digital Photography
Come join Canterbury’s Middle and Upper School Digital Photography teacher, Dan Percivall, and capture the beauty of Florida. Take short nature walks around the Canterbury School campus or create a studio still life while learning how to use professional cameras and lenses. You will explore the elements of photography and make a stunning online portfolio. The bonus to this digital photography camp is that you will do tutorials with Adobe Photoshop to enhance and print your most successful photographs.

Clay Creations: Sculpting Fun and Imagination
Join Mrs. Deeter for an hour of hands-on creativity in this fun, beginner-friendly polymer clay class! Each week, students will learn to sculpt and design unique projects using colorful polymer clay that hardens after baking. Explore your artistic side as we create exciting projects like beaded bracelets, glow-in-the-dark snail succulent pots, insect-themed tic-tac-toe games, dreamcatchers, decorated pet rocks, Croc charms, keychains, and more! This class is perfect for young artists eager to experiment with sculpting and crafting. All projects will be made during class and baked afterward to take home as lasting keepsakes. Through hands-on activities and exploration, students will observe and document campus wildlife, gaining a deeper understanding of the ecosystems around them. Painting & Art History
Join Mrs. Summers, Assistant Pre-K4 teacher and Cross Country Coach, as she explores the art periods from Impressionism to the present. We will learn about their style, technique, and color palette. Then we will create our paintings based on that period. Our final project will literally melt away as we paint. All materials will be provided.

Welcome to "Cheerful Moves," an exciting program designed specifically for Lower School Students! This vibrant and energetic program introduces children to the fun world of cheerleading through a blend of movement, music, and teamwork. Our goal is to foster confidence, coordination, and creativity in a supportive and playful environment.
What to Expect:
Cheer Fundamentals: Cheerleading Basics: Introduction to simple cheerleading moves, including jumps, and kicks
Cheer Chants & Cheers: Engaging and age-appropriate cheers and chants to build vocal skills and teamwork.
Group Exercises: Fun group activities that promote social skills, turn-taking, and positive communication.

Soccer Shots

Soccer Shots Premier focuses on individual skill, fitness, and sportsmanship, providing an opportunity for children to be challenged through fun games and team interaction. Children will also be introduced to competition in a developmentally appropriate manner.
