Middle School Bands Compete at OrlandoFest

Congratulations to our student musicians in Middle School on bringing home a couple of trophies from OrlandoFest, a premier music and performing arts festival. 
The competition took place on Saturday, March 23, 2024. Our Concert Band, composed of sixth-graders earned first place with a Good rating from the judges. Our Symphonic Band, which includes seventh and eighth-grade students, earned first place with a rating of Excellent.

They truly exemplified the spirit of Canterbury, leaving an indelible mark of pride.” shared Mr. Matthew Murrell, Canterbury’s Middle School Band Director. 

In addition to the performance, students enjoyed the day at Universal Studios. Congratulations to all on a successful competition!
