Dr. Dawn Belamarich Inspires Canterbury Students
On November 15, 2024, Canterbury School had the privilege of welcoming Dr. Dawn Belamarich, President & CEO of Collaboratory to speak with the Upper and Middle School students as part of our Leadership Institute for Tomorrow, or LIFT initiative. A dynamic speaker and innovator, Dawn engaged students with her insights on fostering creativity and collaboration in today’s interconnected world.
Dawn discussed her role as President and CEO of the Collaboratory in Downtown Fort Myers and shared what it takes to lead an organization with discipline, confidence, and knowing your WHY. Dawn also provided valuable insights into effective leadership, emphasizing the importance of staying true to one’s purpose while fostering teamwork and innovation. Her inspiring message resonated with students, encouraging them to think critically about their goals and the impact they can have in their communities.
She also emphasized the importance of thinking outside the box and leveraging teamwork to tackle complex challenges. She encouraged students to embrace their unique strengths and explore opportunities for making a positive impact in their communities.
The assembly left students inspired and motivated, sparking conversations about innovation and collaboration that carried into classrooms and beyond. Canterbury School is grateful to Dr. Dawn Belamarich and the Collaboratory for their commitment to inspiring future leaders.
