Canterbury Student Dhira S. '29 Earns Spot in World Robotics Championship

Congratulations to Dhira S. '29 and his FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team, Java The Hutts, for their outstanding achievement at the Florida State Championships! The team earned the Inspire Award, the highest honor at the competition, for their exceptional performance in robot games and their embodiment of the FIRST spirit. This marks their third Inspire Award in four years, and they are now heading to the FIRST World Championships in Houston, TX!
Dhira, the youngest member of his team, played a key role as one of the main builders, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and learning throughout this exciting year of robotics. The team’s dedication and hard work paid off as they qualified for the World Championships, securing the first advancement slot.
