Canterbury Upper School Band Earns Top Honors at Orlandofest
The Canterbury Upper School Band recently showcased their exceptional talent at Universal Studios Florida, where they competed in the prestigious Orlandofest Band Competition. The band brought three outstanding performing ensembles — the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Modern Band — and each group delivered stellar performances, demonstrating their hard work and musical excellence.
The Wind Ensemble earned an impressive 2nd place in their division, while both the Jazz Band and Modern Band secured 1st place in their respective divisions. All three ensembles were recognized with an Excellent Rating for their outstanding performances.
This trip was a truly remarkable experience for the students, who not only played wonderfully but also had a fantastic time representing Canterbury and making lasting memories together. This annual tradition continues to be a highlight of the year — and we can’t wait to return next year for another unforgettable experience!
