Young Inventors Shine at 2025 Invention Convention Florida

Canterbury Lower School students Swara S. ’36 and Ivaan S. ’35 proudly represented the school at the 2025 Invention Convention Florida, held on April 12 at the University of South Florida’s Research Park in Tampa.
Swara earned first place in the first-grade division with her creative project, Science Dolls, while Ivaan received second place in the second-grade division for his innovative invention, Hurricage: Shielding Homes and Saving Lives. Both students received invitations to compete at the 2025 Invention Convention U.S. Nationals!

The Invention Convention Florida is a state-level competition for K–12 students and part of Henry Ford’s Invention Convention Worldwide. It offers young inventors the opportunity to present their original ideas and potentially advance to the national competition. We’re proud of Swara and Ivaan for using their curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving skills to make a difference!
