We are thrilled to celebrate the accomplishments of Devon Borg ’22, who recently earned first place in the Brain and Behavior category of the AAAS 2025 Student E-Poster Competition! Devon, now a student at the University of Florida, conducts groundbreaking research on Parkinson’s disease as an undergraduate assistant in Dr. Habibeh Khoshbouei’s lab at the McKnight Brain Institute.
His award-winning work is featured in the April 18 issue of Science magazine, an extraordinary recognition at the national level. Devon’s mentor, Ph.D. student Leah Phan, shared, “He works so hard and he’s so motivated. It is so rewarding to see him be recognized for all his hard work.”
We are incredibly proud of Devon’s dedication, curiosity, and remarkable success in the field of neuroscience.
