Mock Trial Team Wins Second Place
Congratulations to Canterbury’s Mock Trial team on placing second out of six teams in this year’s Lee County Mock Trial Competition, which took place February 3-4, 2017, at the Lee County Justice Center.
“In the nine years that I have sponsored this club, our students presented the most polished defense case that I have seen. I was very proud of them,” explains Ian Cross, faculty advisor for Canterbury’s Mock Trial team.
We also want to recognize Julia R. ’18 for winning Best Opening Defense Statement. Kudos to all and special thanks to Canterbury’s Attorney Coach Michael Hornung.
