Hurricane Irma Update #4
As we continue to monitor the path of Hurricane Irma, we would like to keep you updated on our closures and cancellations.
As a reminder, the school will be closed and all athletic and after-school activities have been canceled on the following days:
- Thursday, September 7, 2017
- Friday, September 8, 2017
- Monday, September 11, 2017
Please note that our Extended Day Program, as well as all athletics and after-school activities, are canceled for today (September 6). All students will need to be picked up at normal dismissal time.
We have also made the decision to cancel our Lower School and Middle/Upper School Back-to-School Nights at this time. We will provide the information to our parents in a video format at a later date.
Decisions regarding any additional closures and cancellations will be made as needed. Please continue to monitor Canterbury’s website as well as Cougar Campus for continued information.
Finally, the uncertainty of this storm has likely created a lot of anxiety among our students and families. Our Guidance Department would like to share the following resources to help address any stress reactions you may observe in your children during this difficult situation.
