Troupe 5782 Impresses at the Florida State Thespian Festival
The Canterbury Arts Department is thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Troupe 5782 at the Florida State Thespian Festival, held March 19-22, 2025, in Tampa.
This festival is one of the most prestigious theater events in the state, and earning a performance spot is no small feat. To qualify, students must first receive a Superior rating at the district level, and only a select few are chosen to showcase their work at the state competition. The selection process is highly competitive, making this accomplishment even more remarkable.
We are incredibly proud of the following students for their hard work and exceptional performances:
Alissia P. ’26 – Excellence in Playwriting
Olivia T. ’25 – Excellence in Playwriting
Olivia T. ’25 – Excellence in Solo Acting
Isabella F. ’27 – Superior in Solo Acting

These talented students have showcased their dedication, passion, and artistry on one of the biggest stages for high school theater in Florida. Their achievements are a testament to their hard work and the strength of Canterbury’s performing arts program.
Please join us in congratulating Troupe 5782 on their success!
