Coach Camary Williams Inducted into Cape Coral High School Athletic Hall of Fame
Camary Williams, Canterbury’s Head Girls Basketball Coach and Middle School PE/Health Coach, has been honored with induction into the Athletic Hall of Fame at Cape Coral High School.
Camary Williams, a Cape Coral High School alumna from the Class of 2013, played four years of varsity basketball at CCHS, building a foundation that propelled her to collegiate and professional success.
After high school, she played two seasons at Hillsborough Community College before transferring to the University of Evansville (UE). Her impact at UE was remarkable, earning her multiple honors in the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC), including Honorable Mention, First Team All-Defense, and Defensive Player of the Year. Known for her tenacity on defense, Williams currently ranks third for most steals in MVC history.
Williams continued her career overseas, playing professionally for three years before bringing her expertise to Canterbury. Today, she’s an influential coach and mentor, inspiring her students and athletes with the same passion and dedication that defined her own career. Her Hall of Fame induction is a fitting tribute to her contributions to the sport and her enduring impact on young athletes.
