Canterbury Soccer Teams Shine with FACA Awards

We are thrilled to announce that both our Boys and Girls Soccer teams have earned top honors from the Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA)!
  • Dusty D. ’25 earned the FACA Player of the Year award for 1A Boys Soccer, showcasing his outstanding talent and leadership on the field.
  • Jared Rust was named FACA Coach of the Year for 1A Boys Soccer, recognizing his dedication and excellent coaching skills.
On the girls' side, our Girls Soccer team also brought home big wins:
  • Alyssa L. ’25 was named FACA Player of the Year for 1A Girls Soccer, an incredible honor. She has also been selected to play in the 2025 Girls All-Star Soccer Classic, a prestigious event recognizing the top talent in the sport.
  • Paolo Acosta earned FACA Coach of the Year for 1A Girls Soccer, recognizing his leadership and ability to inspire his team.
These prestigious awards reflect the exceptional dedication, skill, and teamwork of both our players and coaches. Congratulations to all for their hard work and well-deserved recognition!
