Rebecca Yu He Awarded Most Valuable Teacher Award by FFLA

Rebecca Yu He, our Middle and Upper School Chinese Teacher, was awarded Most Valuable Teacher at the 2024 Florida Foreign Language Association, titled "Building Belonging through Language, Culture, and Connections". The conference was held September 26-28 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Lake Buena Vista South in Kissimmee.
Receiving the Most Valuable Teacher Award from the Florida Foreign Language Association (FFLA) recognizes a teacher's outstanding contributions to foreign language education in Florida. It highlights their commitment to promoting language acquisition, cultural understanding, and innovative teaching practices. The award reflects their impact on students’ language skills and their ability to inspire a passion for learning about different cultures. This honor underscores the teacher's role in enhancing foreign language programs and advocating for the importance of multilingualism in education.
