The Lair Volume 50 Makes Its Debut

The newest edition of The Lair, Canterbury’s yearbook, has officially been released! We want to acknowledge Mr. Grey and the yearbook staff for their dedication to crafting this wonderful book filled with creativity and unforgettable memories.
This year’s theme is “Canterbury Strong” which the Editor-in-Chief, Ibi R. ’24, explains in the book’s opening, “The Lair Volume 50 proudly highlights the theme of strength, which is an
admirable attribute practiced by every member of our community. We continue to grow and thrive because we are Canterbury Strong.”

The yearbook team dedicated this year’s book to our History and Social Sciences Department Chair, Mr. Ian Cross. “To know or be a student of Mr. Cross is to know that his passion for education drives each of his lessons. When entering his classroom one can truly feel immersed in the strength and beauty of the past and the present. We thank Mr. Cross for his dedication not only to history, but our community as a whole,” shared Ibi R. ’24.

Yearbooks can be picked up this summer at the Upper School Front Office on Mondays through Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Each Canterbury student who attended school for the full year (2023-2024) receives one yearbook. If you are not able to pick it up this summer, yearbooks can still be picked up when the new school year begins.
