Five Track and Field Athletes Win District Titles

Canterbury's track and field teams had strong showings at the FHSAA Track and Field District Championships on Thursday, April 25, at Community School of Naples.
As a team, the boys and girls squads brought home 13 Top 5 finishes (8 girls, 5 boys), with five Cougars bringing home district titles! The girls finished third overall as a team.

Other notable finishes include: 
  • Joslyne D. '26 (second place: long jump, 200m)
  • Joseph D. '24 (second place, 200m)
  • Collin M. '25 (second place, high jump)
  • Justin H. '24 (third place, 800m)
  • Travis H. '25 (third place, 3200m)
  • Lydia K. '27 (fourth place, discus)
  • 4x400 relay team (Ellie M. '25, Carlie M. 28, Alex T. '25, Cheyenne M. '26), fourth place 
All participants who finished Top 4 in their respective events have received automatic bids to the the FHSAA Track and Field Regional Championships on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at IMG Academy.
