Six Upper School Students Qualify for Regional Science Fair
Six Upper School students have been selected to represent Canterbury at the upcoming Thomas A. Edison Regional Science Fair in February at Florida Gulf Coast University.
Students in grades 9-12 had the opportunity to participate and present their research during Canterbury's annual in-house Science Symposium on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, with the opportunity to move onto the regional, state, and international science fairs.
Canterbury School will have six projects represented in the Senior Division (Grades 9-12) of the 2024 Thomas Alva Edison Kiwanis Regional Science & Engineering Fair presented by Sony Electronics, Inc. Two students, Mehereen C. '25 and Jack P. '24 , will have projects dual enrolled in both the science and inventors fairs!
Jack will compete with the same project, while Mehereen will enter a project entitled Virtual Reality Therapy for Neurological Disorders.
The regional science fair will take place Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Alico Arena on the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University.
