Meet the Alumni Board

- BJ Rosinus received his bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. BJ is married to his wife Kristin and is a father to three beautiful children, two of which attend Canterbury. He loves offshore fishing, the game of golf, and spending time with his family and close friends. BJ has worked at Francis L. Dean & Associates since 2019 where his role is National Account Executive. BJ has served on Canterbury’s Alumni Board for numerous years holding various positions.

- Jonathan Spellman is an attorney serving Fort Myers in Criminal Law and Criminal Defense cases. A Fort Myers native and former assistant public defender, Spellman graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of Central Florida after interning for the United States Senate and the United States Congress, while also earning a minor in legal studies. He graduated law school in 2013 with honors for his participation in the Moot Court Honor Board at Florida Coastal School of Law.

- Lance Dunford, Esq. is a Partner at the Law Firm of Scott T. Moorey practicing Criminal Defense, serving all of Southwest Florida. Lance is a fourth-generation Floridian along with his wife Lauren Dunford ’03. They are raising their daughter Layne here locally as well. Lance attended Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida for undergrad where he obtained a degree in Political Science. Lance then remained in Central Florida where he attended Barry University School of Law.

- Mark Price received a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Studies from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Miami. Currently, Mark serves as the Chief Operating Officer for LSI Companies where he is responsible for overseeing company operations, sales, and business development, in addition to assisting with investor relations and sourcing capital. Mark married Bailey Dear on December 9, 2023, in Marco Island, Florida.

- Lema Abuoqab graduated from Tufts University summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, as well as a Minor in Medical Anthropology. She was a student researcher at the Mother Infant Research Institute at Tufts Medical Center, where she completed her Senior Honors Thesis for the Department of Biology, “Mechanisms Underlying Changes in Placental Lipid Profiles Across Gestation.” She was also President of the Tufts University Chapter of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and is a proud children's book author. Lema plans to attend UMass T.H. Chan School of Medicine in the fall of 2024. Lema is a Canterbury School Lifer, and older sister to Laith '25, Leena '27, and Ghaith '35.

- Michael M. Rubenstein, JD, LLM, MBA, CTFA is a Senior Fiduciary Advisor and Vice President for the Southeast Region of the United States with BMO Harris Wealth Management. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science from Vanderbilt University, graduating cum laude. He earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Miami (FL), a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University of Miami (FL), and a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Taxation from Villanova University.

- Emma Frank returned to Canterbury in the fall of 2021 to take the reins of our Psychology classes in our Upper School. Emma earned her Bachelor of Art in Psychology and Sociology with minors in Education and Spanish from the University of Miami.

- Abby Pezzi graduated with a master’s degree in economics from Tufts University in 2012. Abby and her husband Steve moved back to Fort Myers where they are raising their three children, two of which attend Canterbury.

- Alex Judge joined Canterbury in 2024 as our Middle School Counselor. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Media & Communication from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Alex also recently completed her Master of Social Work from Florida State University. She and her husband have one son who will be attending Canterbury in the fall of 2024.
